Types of Salwar Kameez :




1. Patiala salwar Kameez: It is a type of female trousers which has its roots in Patiala City in the Northern region of Punjab state in India. It is very comfortable to wear. .This Salwar is having a number of pleates of different styles. The fall of pleates goes back and looks like baggy with pleates. It is made from much more cloth than traditional salwar. It is needed apprx. 5 meters to make a Patiala salwar suit. Patiala salwars require double the length of material to get stitched. It has many pleats that gather at the waistline and drape below gracefully, giving a beautiful appearance to the salwar. The patiala salwar is very Much Popular.




 

2. Bootcuts: These are with huge bottom and with multi color patches stitched one by one. Latest Bootcut from top upto knee comes straight that takes shape like flat umberalla with number of colorful stitched patches. Other style that come have cuts upto knee. Boot cut is also popular women salwar kameez style amongst the people. Bootcut salwar has shape, it is like parallel pant but at knee portion it has tight fitting from knee to bottom as compared to Indian salwar and parallel pant.








3. Dhoti style: This Dhoti Salwar style is taken from Punjabi cultural Patiala Salwar style but it is not a patiala style. It is normally worn in Uttar Pradesh. It is in trend nowadays.Paliala has changed in bear legs style and Dhoti style. Patiala is now a tight huge pleated churidar and the latter is pleated loose made dhoti style. It is a rectangular piece of unstitched cloth, usually around 4.5 metres long, wrapped around the waist and the legs and knotted at the waist. Dhoti is a cultural Salwar/ Pant style of Pak India Punjab, now becoming a fashionable style for modern crazy girls, the top of the start with lot of Churi Drapes.Latest Style of Dhoti style with long and stylish plated style is looking beautiful with sleeveless short Real Punjabi Cultural Dhoti even wears in Punjab Indian and Pakistan as Cultural wears.

 


 

4. Laila Salwar Style: This Salwar fashion was also introduced by India in an Indian Film Laila Majno but no longer was adopted .The Laila Salwar style is taken from old Arabic culture but this salwar style is designed after some modification so that it may follows the latest trend. IT is a unique Style.

 



 

 

5. Churidar Kameez Suit: These salwar styles are mostly wear in Indian and Pakistan.It is like the traditional salwar kameez suit, the bottoms are cut close and tight to the leg with a good deal extra length added so the material will wrinkle up around your ankle. It's with a lot of churies drapes near ankles. 








 



 

 

6. Parallel Suit: It is an updated version of the salwar kameez.They usually consists of the same three pieces found in a salwar kameez suit. . Parallel is like pant with narrow front belt , back elastic and side chain or full elastic depending upon clients requirements. It features a trouser like fit through the hips and thighs and can either be straight down to the ankle like a trouser/pant or it can have a slightly flared leg similar to a boot cut pant. The flare can also be very wide depending on the individual suit and suit wearer’s taste. A parallel salwar has straight cuts just like normal pants. It is very popular among the younger generations of Indian women and many Non-Indian women as well.
The parallel suit (as described above) is a good example of Indo-West Fusion and these two terms are often used interchangeably. 









7. Straight Pajami Salwar: This is a latest fashionable salwar style introduced by Indian Models for party wears. It does not have any churies.It is straight. The difference is that the pajama (bottoms) does not have as much length in the lower leg and does not wrinkle around the ankle. It is a very slim fitting leg look. 








 




 
 8. Afghani Salwar Suit: Afghani Cultural women wear these types of salwar even wears in Arab countries. This Salwar style was adopted at boom level but now these types of salwars are wears after some modifications. This style suit is basically the same as a salwar kameez suit as it consists of the same three pieces. The difference lies in the cut and style of the suit. The salwars are very loose, featuring a many pleated look. The salwar is very baggy and is often embroidered along the leg or ankle. The kameez is shorter than a traditional suit, ranging from mid-thigh to above the knee. This suit can be sleeveless. 






 


 

9. Sharara: This salwar has wider leg pants that have similarity with full skirts. The pants are fitted till the knee, with a big flare from the knee onwards or a kind of loose, trailing pajama. It looks like a lehenga at the lower part but has lesser circumference to make it a sharara.The tops of the pants are fitted and then flare at the knee and trail on the ground. The kurta is cut shorter to mid-thigh.
