Beauty Tips and Secrets

Beauty Tips on Hair Care, Skincare, and Much More

One key to feeling great is looking good. Women tend to feel good about themselves when they have the confidence of knowing they look great, too. Here are some beauty tips on hair care, skincare, and more to help you look your best.

Hair Care

Take extra time when you wash your hair from this point forward. After you shampoo your hair, use a separate conditioner. Leave the conditioner in your hair for a couple of minutes before washing it out. This will take longer in the shower, but the results will be worth the extra effort. Your hair will be softer and silkier, and your hair won't look dry. You can also use coconut oil for hair as this helps keep your hair looking its best.

To keep your hair from looking flat or dull, use extra big hair rollers to give your hair large curls. This will instantly add volume to your hair and make it look as if you spent hours in a salon getting your hair done.

Don't allow your hair color to look one dimensional. This can make your hair look lifeless. Add life and shine to your hair by adding highlights, which will add dimension and depth. This will make your hair look beautiful and healthy.

Skincare

Start taking care of your skin by drinking water throughout the day. The key is to keep your body hydrated, so it doesn't have to pull water from your skin. This will keep your skin from drying out and make your skin look healthy, too.

Keep your skin looking healthy by washing your face only once or twice each day with a mild cleansing agent. Stay away from harsh products that cause redness and irritation. If acne is a problem, try an over the counter acne medication for sensitive skin. Never pick at your face because the acne could spread, or you could damage your skin and cause scarring.

Choose your make-up carefully. You want to choose a clean make-up that is oil free, so it won't clog your pores and cause acne to occur. You also want a lightweight make-up that doesn't feel too heavy on the skin. Remember that if it feels heavy, then it probably also looks heavy, too.

Much More

Give yourself a boost in confidence by making your nails look great. Start by filing them to get a great shape. Then, for a classic look, paint them with a clear coat for a nice shine. You can also add fun colors to your nails to make you smile each time you see them. It is amazing how keeping your nails nice can have an impact on your self-esteem.

Moisturize daily to keep every inch of your skin feeling soft, smooth, and healthy. You will radiate with a healthy glow.

Hands care tips

I'm sure you'll agree that, our hands are very important to us.A lot of us take care of our face, but neglect our hands which is very bad.

Even though your face gets noticed first, your hands get the maximum exposure. They are in direct contact with harsh sun, chaffing winds and drying elements like detergents, hot water etc. As a result, the hands look years older than other parts of you.we should take care of our hands too..

Here are some tips :

* Wear a high SPF sunscreen on the backs of your hands every day, even in winter and on cloudy days

* Wear gloves every time you wash dishes or handwash clothing.Gloves protect your hands from the irritating ingredients of household chemicals and cleansers

* Use a mild pH soap like Dove when washing your hands

* Put lotion on your hands after you wash them, every time!

* Always wear gloves when you garden or do heavy housework

* Wear gloves to protect your hands from cold weather.

* Exposure to cold and windy climate for long time can remove moisture from your skin. So, wear gloves whenever you go outdoors during the winter season.

* Get manicures from reputable spas or nail salons that practice good sanitation.

* On hot sunny days, wear sunscreen to protect you hands from the sun's ultraviolet rays.

* Apply aloe gel to protect and prevent the hands from aging.

* Mix some glycerin, lemon juice and some drops of rosewater and use it to massage the hands every other day for radiant and soft skin of hands.

* Do not use hot water, use warm water instead. Studies prove that using hot water strip the skin of its natural oils.

* Do not remove cuticles (the dead skin at the base of a fingernail or toenail) since they are there protecting nails from infection.

A Quick Hand Treatment

Hands are the most visible parts of you, but they also take a lot of abuse. You use them in everyday activity, and yet, they are the ultimate accessory. You must give them the same attention you give your face.* Soften your hands even while you do the dishes. Add a little almond oil (about a teaspoon) to dishwater. The water will soften rought skin while the oil seals the moisture.

* Slough off dead skin cells with a solution made of sea salt lemon. Brush it into hands with an old toothbrush. Do this twice a week to soften hands and remove discoloration.

* Wash hands thoroughly with warm water, then, using a coarse washcloth, rub briskly. While skin is slightly damp, apply a mixture of one teaspoon honey and one teaspoon olive oil. Place hands in small plastic bags, then in a pair of cotton gloves for thirty minutes. The heat helps the treatment penetrate.

* Warm a cup of milk in the microwave for thirty seconds. Soak your hands for five minutes to strengthen nails and hydrate skin. Not only is milk loaded with lactic acid, a natural alpha hydroxy acid that gently exfoliates dead skin, but its high calcium content will strengthen fragile nails.
