Best Makeup Tips for Oily Skin

When it comes to skin care, everyone knows it matters much, especially for those who have naturally an oily facial skin. Problems are more compounded in this case as the make up not only is difficult to apply but also it gets displaced with more and more oil secreted by the skin. Here is a simple step by step make up guide for those with oily skin.

Cleansing: Before applying any make up on your skin, cleansing and making it neutral is most important. Use an ‘Exfoliating Cleanser’ which not only cleans your skin but also makes the skin free from dead cells and removes the clogging particles in the acne causing oily skin pores. This cleansing is most suitable for oily skin and is better than skin care soaps.

Remember few tips: Use salicylic acid ingredient in a cleanser for cleansing. Do not over rub your skin. Use sponge instead of your fingers, as skin to skin contact can induce more oil on your facial skin. Do not touch your facial skin with hands at any point.

Toners: one may apply toner using cotton, which is specially meant
for oily skin. The main function of a toner is to clear off oil and make up traces and gives you clearer skin.

Moisturizer: few prefer to skip moisturizing, but it’s required for the make up to hold on to your slippery oily skin and hide wrinkles if any. Make sure you use a water based moisturizer instead of an oil based one.

Foundation: The best methods include Matte Mineral Foundation or
the Liquid based foundation. Foundation is the most essential and significant step in making up. This is the one which is in direct contact with your skin and the make up on top of it. Mineral foundation consists of anti oxidants and vitamins necessary for the skin and are resistant to water and smudging. It also help in keeping your skin more youthful and cater to most Skin Care needs.

Liquid foundation on the other hand, contains aloe vera to supply nutrients to the skin and soften the irritated pores. Do not use foundations with petroleum based oil content, alcohol and cheaper powder based foundation. Also remember to apply lighter colored foundation as the foundation tends to mix with the oil secreted and make the skin look darker after some time.
• Finally, after the application of foundation, leave your skin for ten minutes without disturbing for it to get set properly. Then you may apply a faint tone of setting powder clearly and uniformly distributed through out the face. Always use pressed powder with matte finish. It’s always advisable for those with oily skin, to apply as little make up as possible, which only covers up the non uniform portions and gives a uniform smooth and slender look.

Apart from the above make up tips, remember to drink plenty of water. Consume good amount of natural fruits and vegetables, as most requirements for skin care are taken care of by them. Use good, branded skin care soaps, keep washing your skin at least twice or thrice a day and never touch your face unnecessarily with your bare hands.

Great Beauty Tips for Seniors

Beauty tips for seniors encourage proper hair care, the elimination of aging marks and wrinkles and the right use of makeup. However, what most seniors seem to fail to remember is that they have to keep dressing well and taking care of their skin and body, no matter how old they might be.

Most importantly, though, they have to follow a balanced diet and a good skin care regime. They also need to keep in mind that skin care applies to both what goes on the body and in the body. In other words, unless you give your body the proper nourishment from the inside, you will not be able to achieve healthy and glowing skin. This means that you have to eat a good diet full of whole grains, fresh vegetables and fruits at all times.

As you get older, you have to consume more foods filled with vitamin E and vitamin A, too. This will ensure that you replenish your body's natural amounts of vitamins. Plus, these vitamins will promote the growth of new cells on your skin and make it glow more.

In a nutshell, just make sure you consume a lot of yellow and green vegetables. See, as you get older, your skin will lose its moisture and become tighter and dryer, resulting in a lifeless and dull wrinkled texture. This usually comes about because of hormonal changes, a decrease in moisture and a loss of intracellular lipids, so never forget to moisturize your skin the right way.

Aside from that, there are other basic beauty tips that seniors should follow at
all times. For starters, you have to use a
cream lipstick as opposed to a gloss or matte one and use a neutral lip liner to make your lips look fuller. Ideally, you should also have different shades of lipstick available to suit your different moods, occasions and outfits. Heavy makeup should also be avoided at all times and you shouldn't forget to use lotions and moisturizing soaps to keep your skin hydrated, either.

As mentioned earlier, you should also maintain a proper diet, but you should also drink lots of water to keep your skin hydrated. If you are using products with SPF 15 or higher, make sure you use them with UVA and UVB protection, as well.

Overall, you should also be confident in your beauty and feel beautiful from the inside out. If you know how unique your personality is, you should be able to spice it up as needed anyway, but do try to bring in some colors into your ensemble, too - be it in your accessories, makeup or clothes. Remember: there is nothing wrong with experimentation, so just have fun!

How to Apply Eye - Makeup

Eye Makeup enhances the beauty of your eyes so most of the girls or women’s concentrate more on their eyes. When they are becoming ready for their office, they prefer to put mascara, liner and kajal and when they are going to attend some function or party they prefer to go for deep eye makeup which includes the eyes shadows and put more enhance on the eye lids.

To start with your eye makeup, first step is to check which eye shadows complement your eye color. Here are the some tips.

1. For the Brown and Hazel eyes: Brown and hazel eyes look gorgeous in golds.

2. For the Blue eyes: Blues eyes looks pretty in rosy pinks with golden undertones.

3. For the Blue eyes: Green eyes look good in plum or violet shades.

4. For a clean day look use a medium-tone or other neutral color on the lid and blend it gently up into the crease. For women over 30, he says blending up right above the middle of the eye.

5. If you're going out for the night, you might want to take the darkest shadow and apply it on the lid, blending it a bit into the crease, and then use a neutral tone for the brow bone, blending it down into the crease.

6. If the hood of your eye goes all the way down to the eyelashes, apply a thin line of liner on the top lash line and a thicker line on the bottom lid. This helps to compensate for not being able to see the top of the eye line.

7. If you can see the top line of your eye, put very little liner on the bottom lash line and focus on the outer corner of the eye. Then, line the inner eye with white pencil.

8. A touch of rosy gold in the center of the lid or at the brow bone can open up the eyes tremendously. The same goes for shimmery bronze. Plum is dramatic enough to work with in lieu of brown or black eye shadow and it looks gorgeous on green eyes. Play around with a plum smoky eye by applying a light mauve color to the lid, and a deep plum in the crease.

Steps to do Eye Makeup:

1. Wash your skin: This is the first step and a good step. Wash your skin before doing any type of makeup. Putting some cold compresses on the eyes for 10 minutes to reduce puffiness. Cold tea bags are great because they contain caffeine or anything cold from the refrigerator. You can take ice slice or cucumber slice also to reduce puffiness of your eyes.

2. Light moisturizer: Start with light moisturizer. Apply it around the eye. If the moisturizer seems too heavy for the delicate skin around the eye, blot it gently with a tissue. Never use a hand or body lotion.

3. Foundation: Before starting doing eye makeup, don’t forget to apply an eye shadow base for stay-put power. It's wise to apply your foundation and under eye concealer after your smoky eyes, since the color so easily falls down around the eyes. Concealer can be used to cover up under-eye circles. To cover dark under eye circles, apply three dots of concealer under each eye. Start at the inner corner where skin tends to be darkest, then under the pupil and the third on the outer edge. Pat, never rub with your ring finger until it disappears.

4. Eye base: Apply eye base to your lid Eye base is the secret to keeping your shadow in place for hours.

5. Eyeliner: Dark eye shadows work great as eyeliner. Wet a slanted brush, then dip in a dark eye shadow. Line eyes as close to the upper lashes as possible from the inner corner to the outer corner. Follow with liner on bottom eyes, but only line from the middle of the eye out. Smudge the bottom line with a Q-tip or your finger. You don't want a prominent line. For a Smokey eye, use a brush to pat in a dark eye shadow along the upper lid and below the lid.

6. Eye shadow: You can apply darkest eye shadow all over the eye lid, or in the crease, depending upon the look you want. Once you have applied dark color in the crease then start blending it up and outward toward the brow bone elongates round eyes For a standard smoky eye, you can try pewter eye shadow all over the lid, charcoal in the crease and keep the brow bone light. It's great to use a three-toned shadow and build from lids to brow. Allowing them to blend into each other like a rainbow is gorgeous.

7. Brighten your eyes with a highlighter: This step involves only the inside part of the eye. Putting a bit of your lightest eye shadow in the inner corner of your eye will brighten it significantly.

8. Highlight your brow: Take the same light eye shadow and dab it on your brow bone, concentrating on your mid-brow outward. Blend with your finger.

9. Curl lashes: An eyelash curler will make even long lashes look more gorgeous. For added effect, you can heat the curler under a blow-dryer for a couple of seconds. Test curler before applying to lashes because you could burn yourself.

10. Apply mascara: Place the wand of your mascara brush at the bottom of lashes and wiggle back and forth. Follow with another few sweeps of the wand. Apply to bottom lashes as well. The best way to put on smudge-proof mascara is to tilt the chin up slightly and the head back slightly and lift your eyebrows up, like you're asking a question. That makes it easy to run the mascara brush along the length of the upper lashes from the base to the tip without smearing.

11. Apply shaped eyebrows: You can also put shaped eyebrows which is easily available in market in the beauty stores. It will enhance the beauty of your eyes. The latest look in eyebrows is the gentle arch. It also provides an automatic lift to the face.

Eyebrows Problems.

Some of us are born with perfectly shaped eyebrows but few are not. Achieving beautiful, natural eyebrows is a challenge. Some turn to using eyebrow stencils, eyebrow pencils, or eyebrow powders. Sometimes regardless of all these efforts, the results of these techniques usually result in eyebrows that are not ok or aren't the perfect shape or fullness.

There are artificial look-alike eyebrows now available, made of 100% natural hair in different colors and contours, the use of which transforms your appearance in the twinkling of an eye. You can fix them with Glue.
Depending on the skin-type, this long-lasting glue makes the product last for several days Detailed directions for use help you out with the application for the first time. If you don't want to use these artificial eyebrows then there is one more method..

Here are step by step tips given.

Purchase an eyebrow stencil kit(arched look). You can buy it from any beauty store or from online.

Place the eyebrow stencil over your eye where your eyebrows are normally and trace the inside of the stencil with the waterproof eyebrow pencil included in the kit.

Continue to hold the eyebrow stencil over your eye. Dip a small eyebrow brush into the eyebrow powder. Use the brush to apply the powder inside the stencil.

Remove the stencil to show your new eyebrows. The eyebrow pencil makes the eyebrow powder waterproof so your "new" eyebrows should last for many hours.

Shimmer makeup gives very harsh look during the daytime, it's perfect for evening when you want a glowing, eye-catching look. Applying too much shimmer doesn't add beauty.

Too much powder will make you look glittery and artificially shiny.

Go Glam with Glitter

Glitter is very useful in makeup. Glitter can make
a dramatic effect to any costume you can use any color, silver, gold, even purple.
  1. Get out a small make up brush, such as a lip liner brush or if you don't have one, you can use a q-tip.
  2. Put on your regular layer of makeup including foundation, blush, and eyeshadow. Do not apply your mascara until the end.
  3. Line your lid with eyeliner. If you're using a colored glitter, I recommend using the same color eyeliner.
  4. Wet the end of your small brush or q-tip with water and then squeeze excess water off the brush.
  5. Close your eye and drag the damp brush across the eyeliner and then with the dry end of the q-tip or another small dry brush, dip the brush into the loose glitter and dab it along the wet liner on your lid or as far up as you like.
  6. Fan dry your eye using your hand for about one minute before opening your eye. If any excess glitter has fallen on to your upper cheek, you can remove it by blotting a small piece of scotch tape against your cheek.
  7. Now you can apply mascara and head to the closest party!

Lip Moisturizing Tips

Lips are the one of the best part of our face. its look attractive. here are some tips to moisture your lips. It's always best to use these moisture treatments before bed, allowing the lips to trap in the moisture and keep it over night.

Vaseline Treatment
  1. Wet a face cloth with warm water and place your pointer finger inside the cloth. Slowly rub your lips using your finger inside the warm cloth. This will help to remove any dirt and loose skin.
  2. Get out a soft bristle toothbrush and apply Vaseline on to the brush, just as you would toothpaste when you brush your teeth. Rather than brushing your teeth, use the brush to brush over your lips gently.
  3. Right before you go to bed, apply a small amount of Vaseline to your lips and allow it to moisturize as you sleep.
Do this every night before bed and within a few days you will have lips as soft as silk. The Mayo Clinic offers ways to naturally prevent chapped lips.

  3. Store in a small container and have fun glossing your lips.

Lipstick Applying Tips

Your choice of lipstick colors usually depends on several factors, including the colors of the clothing you are wearing. Your lipstick color should complement your outfit, not clash with it. Some of the most popular brands include: Revlon, Loreal, Mac, Clinique, Mary Kay, Cover Girl and Avon. And the most popular lipstick colors are: plum, fever, skin tone, red, pink and neutral.
The occasion and dress style (casual or formal) are also determining factors. For casual wear natural colors would be more appropriate while deeper colors such as dark reds would be preferable for a party or formal events. After you have decided on a color, try it on your lips and test the color in natural light

  1. Pink: If you have thin lips or sharp nose avoid such nuances. It also emphasizes all red skin tones. Our recommendation is that pink lipstick should be worn especially by blonde women.
  2. Red: This is a much warmer color and it has a more dramatically effect. Adds shine, softness and depth. Red lipstick can be used with confidence, it matches with any hair color: use dark red lipstick if you are blonde or light shades of red if you are brunette.
  3. Orange: Looks great on warm skin tones, but if the skin is very pale, well…orange will emphasize this feature. Too much orange can make skin look gray and aging. Redheads can use it with success, but it depends on their color shade. If the red color is very bright, try not to use a bright orange shade for your lips.
  4. Brown and gold shades of lipstick: For a dramatic look. You have to be aware that dark lipstick colors thickens the lips and can add some more years to your actual age. Also, a brown or gold lipstick matches any hair color.
You have to use all of the valuable tips on how to choose lipstick color when you shop and when you dress. Following are a few factors you will want to consider.

1). Color of your skin: Lipstick Color has to match the complexion of your face. The women with fair skin have an advantage. They can choose from most of the shades available from light pink and beige to deep red with blue undertones. The ladies with medium skin tone should definitely opt for deeper lipstick colors. The medium browns with bronze, honey, yellow and orange undertones are excellent choices. The deep reds and pinks are also fine choices. For instance, if your skin is light, pick a light lipstick like peach. Similarly, if your skin is dark, pick a dark lipstick like raisin.

  • Fair Skin – Nudes, beige tones, light corals, light pinks.
  • Olive Skin or Golden Undertones – Reds, brownish mauves, burgundies, spicy browns.
  • Dark Skin – Plums, chocolates, reds, crimson-oranges.

2). Shape of your lips: Women with thin lips should choose softer glossier colors. The beige and pink will definitely improve your looks. The red is not a fine choice as it will make your lips appear even thinner. You can add a lip liner and gloss to give fullness to your lips. Just do not overuse these types of makeup to avoid looking funny. The ladies with full lips should wear darker matter lipsticks. The red and brown shades will complement your looks excellently. Matte lipstick usually look best on large lips because of their minimizing effect.
3). Lifestyle: You should definitely wear more neutral and softer colors at work, even though the red is a classic choice. When you are dressed casually, make sure your lip color is not bright. The beige, light brown and pink are great for casual outings. In many cases, especially when you do exercise in your pastime, the lib balm is a better choice. When you are dressy, make sure you choose the right lipstick color to match your makeup. The glossies and more dramatic shades are perfect for formal evening events, but keep in mind that they should not be complemented with way too heavy makeup. If you work in an office and really don't have time to freshen up, choose a lipstick that is durable and long lasting. If you work outside and need protection from the sun, choose a lipstick that has sunscreen in it. In other words, choose a lipstick that is right for the lifestyle you lead.
4). Time of day :Keep colors lighter for daytime and darker for night. Matte and cream finishes offer a subtler daytime look, while a high-gloss finish adds glamour for evening. A sheer, natural-looking color with a little shine also works well for day.
Always try the lipstick you plan to buy by applying a bit of the tester sample on your hand. In this way you will find the right match for your skin tone.

Application Tips on Lipsticks and liners:

1). First step is to use lots of lip balm on your lip. This will avoid your lips becoming cracked or frayed. This is really important in the cold winter months to care more on your lips. You will lose moisture from your lips much faster in winter. Wait for a while to get the lip balm to sink in to the lips. If you do not let the lip balm to sink in, then the lip liner will not work properly.

2). You need to apply a coat of foundation to smooth and soften lips. This step helps to fill in the lines and smoothes the surface of lips. Also helps lipstick to last longer.

3). Always use a lip liner that matches or that is slightly darker than your lipstick shade Line lips starting at one corner of your upper lip tracing around your lip line to the other corner. Repeat for bottom lip. Do not go right to the corners. The top and bottom liners should not meet or you may get the "circle' look. Fill in lips using your lip liner to prevent a ring being left behind when your lipstick wears off. This step will also help lipstick stay longer. Smudge liner slightly.

4). Apply lip color with a lip brush to avoid disturbing liner. Swipe the brush over the lipstick a few times. Starting at the center of lips, work the color outwards. Be sure to line color where lip liner ends at the corners of your mouth. Brush lips one more time with another coat of lip color. Repeat a third time if a more intense pout is what you desire. Blot excess off

5). Now is the turn of lip gloss; to add some glamour!! Choose a natural lip gloss. Never choose any lip stick which is too dark or too light for your lips. Even if lip gloss looks better on your lips, they do not last like lip stick. You need to have some lip gloss handy, to apply during the day.

6). Plump them up : Now this last part is a bit difficult to do. But it is not too hard to do either. Apply a white shimmery eye shadow or eye brow high lighter right in the centre of your lips. You need to do it real carefully and blend it in. The coloring has to be natural and the shade should be lighter where your mouth opens. This will make your lips look fuller and beautiful.
Note: IF eye make-up is strong, lipstick shade should be paler.
If you are wearing a casual or sport outfit, use a lip-gloss with a neutral shade.
If you go to a wedding and your dress is very…colorful, do not exaggerate with the lipstick shade.
A clear lip balm is the best thing for everyday use while sheer application of a colored lip gloss on lips, cheeks and eyes looks quite subtle and sexy. Glitter lipsticks and lip glosses are for special events and funky night parties that highlight your lips immensely. There are lip glosses that literally make your lips plumper and appear fuller and much more luscious. A very light film of pink or red lipstick gives you the look of that carefree beauty that every woman yearns for. Become an attention-grabbing vampiress, who is hot and trendy these days, by using a blood red lip liner to make precise lip lines and apply two coats of lipstick of same color, blotting the extra oil in between with the tissue paper.

Guide to Use Eyeliner

Step-by-step guide to using black eyeliner for those beautiful eyes

STEP ONE: Apply light-reflecting foundation to the face and use a highlighter pen around the eye to conceal blemishes. Then take your black kohl eyeliner (make sure the tip is soft) and draw a fine line, working from the inner eye outwards.

STEP TWO: Build the line, making it slightly thicker on the outer corner of the eye and taking it out to a point, echoing the eye shape. Then, working from the outer eye inwards, take the line under the eye, keeping close to the lashes, right into the inner corner.

STEP THREE: Using a black mascara, build up several layers on the upper and lower lashes – the more the better.

STEP FOUR: To complete the look, add a soft blush to the apples of the cheeks and a pale pink lip-gloss. There you are all ready with those killer eyes!

Tips for applying Eye-Liner

Eye liner is an important part of eye make up. It gives a dramatic touch to the face and makes eyes look bigger and attractive. Without eyeliner make up is never complete.
Eye-Liner add Beauty to your face but the problem is that most of the girls dont know " how to Apply Eye liner"

Here am giving precision of a neurosurgeon to put on the eyeliner which will help u alot.

*First of all dust a sheer, loose powder on the upper and lower lids. This will help the eyeliner stick well.
*You should apply a base coat of foundation and powder for the eye make-up. Even if you do not intend to wear the foundation you can apply it to your eyes. While applying the liquid liner you should make sure that the brush used to apply the liner is extremely thin. Because if it is not then you may draw too thick line. And it will also be hard to manage the liquid while putting it on
*To Create clean and straight line you should use the liquid form of the eyeliner.
*If you want to create that softer and subtler line then you should use the pencil eyeliners, as they are best.
*You should rest your elbow on a hard surface. This will minimize the shaking of your hands. Start applying the eyeliner from the middle of the eyelid and then gradually drag the liner to the inner corner of the eye. You should draw the line as close to the lashes as possible.
Then go back to the center of the eyelid and repeat the same process outwards.
*If you want to give that smoky look to your eyes then dab a little eye shadow over the line. This will not just give you the desired look but also help the liner stay in place. Of course the shadow and the liner should be of the similar shade.
*If you find that the eyeliner smudges then you should not reapply the liner. Instead you should clean up the line with a dampened Q-tip.
*You should extend the eyeliner slightly past the corners of your eyes for that cat look.
*If you have dark circles under the eyes you should avoid using dark eyeliner.
*When applying the eyeliner make sure that you apply it as close to the lashes as possible.
*Pencil liners tend to smudge and wear off easier.
*If your eyes droop down then you should line them up towards the outer corner of your eye.
*If the liner pencil is freshly sharpened then you should soften its tip by gently rolling it across the back of your hand.
*While using an eye pencil you should open your mouth slightly.
*You should choose a medium or dark shadow color to line your eyes.
*To give a round appearance to the eye, apply a soft neutral brown shade across the eyelid and slightly above the crease, creating a round shape. And blend it going upwards towards the brow.
*Then apply the same color shadow underneath the bottom lashes.

Get ready for a party within 5 mins...

Being a woman you always want to look gorgeous, and makeup can give you confidence for the whole day. Our daily life is sometimes rushy, but that doesn’t mean that you have to neglect your face, because it is the first thing people will notice about you. By following some basic, simple makeup steps, you can achieve a fresh face when taking a quick look in the mirror before leaving.

1 Minute
Apply a sheer liquid or powder foundation using your fingertips, a big sponge or a brush, and blend it evenly across your face and neckline. Be careful not to leave marks and lines, because it can destroy your whole look.

2 Minute
To cover the dark circles around the eye area, apply an under eye concealer on the upper and lower eyelid as well. It is a very important step, because it gives you a fresh, bright look. Use a blemish stick/ concealer to cover up skin imperfections and red spots. Apply a loose, translucent powder that will remove the stickiness and prevent shine on the skin and what is even better, the foundation will be long lasting.

3 Minute
Use a blush and distribute it well on the apples of your cheek. Powder blush is a very practical and easy choice for time-saving. This little thing will give your face a radiant look and an even skin tone.

4 Minute
As a next step apply the eyeshadow of your favorite color. A natural tone eyeshadow will give a soft look to your whole face and will highlight your eyes, making them to appear bigger. If you want to emphasize your eyes more, you can also use an eyeliner. Apply a thin line, mainly in the outer corners of your eye.

Use a black mascara. You can skip the eyeliner, but the mascara is very important, it conveys a feminine appearance, your eyes will have a deeper, wide-open look.

5 Minute
As a final touch, use a clear lip-gloss or one of your favorite color. You can chose whatever tone you would like in order to match your outfit.

Clear glosses give you a more natural air, and are the fastest to apply, you don’t need to waste your time with lining your lips and needs less precision. You are done in 5 minutes and ready to go.

Important rules for obtaining a successful makeup

Rules:

1. A necessary condition is that you don’t makeup your cheeks if they are not properly cleaned of if you are tired, and they have a “dropped down” look.

2. It is very important to use the appropriate natural skin products.

3. The makeup has to be done in a good light so the face does not reflect any shades
.
4. In applying blush and eye makeup is recommended to take account of your age. For example, it is not appropriate for older women to wear a strident make-up.

5. In achieving a successful makeup, colors play an important role. Colors should be chosen depending on the type of women we belong to, depending on clothing, depending on the time of day we shall wear it, etc..

6. When drawing the eye contour path, we have to keep in mind the fact that the ascending line rejuvenates and the descending one makes us look older.

7. By using two colors of the eye shadow, blush, foundation and powder, we can make corrections, knowing that dark colors fade the coated area and light colors highlight them.

8. To keep your cheek skin supple and healthy, it can not be neglected under any circumstances the cleaning of any traces of foundation.

Six Steps To Perfect Eyebrows

Steps

1. Brush brows upward. Carefully trim any excess hair above the top of your natural arch. Be careful not to take off too much at the ends or you'll have brow "bald" spots.

2. Look closely at the shape. Your brow should begin at your tear duct, peak at the outer edge of your iris and end at the outer corner of your eye. This slants the brows upward and makes the person look perpetually angry."

3. Prep your skin: Soak a cotton ball in astringent and wipe the brow area.

4. Hold a pencil in line with the outer side of your iris and note where the peak of your arch naturally occurs. From the arch to the outer corner of the eye, your brow should fall in a straight or slightly curved line, depending on the look you're trying to achieve.

5. Hold the tweezers at a 45 degree angle and pluck the stray hairs below the brow line. "Pull in the direction of the hair growth, or you may end up breaking the hair mid-shaft," says Engle. Follow your natural brow shape, not the trends. "It's very difficult to let your brows grow back into their natural shape after you've plucked them to death trying to achieve a particular look," she says.

6. Fill in sparse areas with a freshly sharpened brow pencil - be a bombshell; use light, quick strokes to draw in hair. Brow powder will give thin brows overall definition, and is great for a more natural look

MakeupTips and Tricks for teens

• Take good care of your skin. Clean, tone and moisturize. It’s a good idea to start early and develop excellent habits when dealing with daily grooming. A clear complexion requires very little makeup.
Makeup should appear fresh, young and clean.
• Always blend. Makeup should look very soft and natural.
• The best eye shadow colors for teens are beige, champagne, soft peach, coral, bronze and butternut.
• Use a bronzer in place of highly pigmented blushers. This will look radiant, soft and natural. • Use eye shadow to lightly line your eyes. Never use heavy eye liner pencils. They are too harsh.
Lip glosses are best for teenagers. Lip sticks are much too heavy. Glosses should be sheer and lightly pigmented.
• A powder or mineral foundation will give a very natural look and is great for teenagers on special occasions. If more coverage is needed, use a liquid foundation sparingly.
Creams are too heavy for teens.
• Teenagers may use a brow pencil to lightly fill in any gaps in their eyebrows, but a brush on brow is highly recommended because it is much more natural looking.
Lip liner pencils should be completely avoided. They are too mature for teens.

Steps:

The first step to eye makeup is concealing the dark circles and fine lines if you have any, even if you don’t it is good to use a concealer for a neat effect. The next important thing is to complete your other makeup and apply eye makeup at the end

.1) Eye shadow - Before you start your eye shadow application wear your lenses and apply the eyeshadow before applying the liner. The colour of your eye shadow plays a very important role in eye make up, it is not necessary to match it with your garment. But keep it in the same colour zone, if in doubt stick to grey and brown shades. Always use an applicator brush starting from your lash line, blending upwards towards the socket. Stay within this zone so that your eyes don’t look loud or over done. Remember the key is ” Less is more”, however, for an evening wear apply one more coat of the same colour for an intense look.

2) Mascara - Wear your mascara before applying the eye liner. Do not wear a brown mascara with black eyeliner. Use a comb to separate lashes after applying the mascara, some make up artists also use tooth pick to separate lashes which get stick together in one direction. Move the mascara brush back and forth at the root to get maximum coverage

3) Eye Liner - Stay away from eye liner if you have tiny eyes, instead use a dark colored eye shadow. Apply it close to the lash line and blend it out gently, using a brush or eye shadow applicator. Use a light brush of mascara, this will help open up your eyes. If you have big eyes you can apply eyeliner on the lower lid also, but if you have small eyes don’t apply liner on the lower lid as it will make your eyes look even smaller.

4) Kajal- Apply Kajal for the final touch. It will add more beauty to your eyes.

Spring Makeup Guide

Makeup changes with seasons, heavy makeup with dark shades is for winter season, light pinkish makeup is for the spring season. The makeup for this season is more feminine and subtle with shades of pink, “Pretty in Pink”, is the idea. Include pink in your colour palette, make it look fresh. Now that the nippy months have gone, switch over from creamy makeup products to shimmery ones. Your face will glow with radiance with this makeup trick.

Follow these steps and get gorgeous.
Face - Let the tan show on your face, the mild sun tan will give a bronze effect to your skin. Highlight it further with a bronzer, apply it sparingly only on the forehead, nose and chin. Use a dome shaped brush, it will ensure that the product is concentrated on the nose/chin, while the surrounding area is just lightly shaded.
But ensure that it is not too dark or orangish else it may look artificial. Blend it thoroughly, so that the colour doesn’t stand out from the rest of your face. Top it up with some blusher in pink shade, to get those rosy cheeks. The method of applying blush is also important, wear a smile on your face and apply blush on the highest point of the cheek.
Eyes - Create shimmery eyes by wearing shimmery cream textured shadow on eyelids. Skip the eyeliner, but pep up your eyes with mascara. Apply 2 coats of mascara, this will make your eyes stand out.
Lips - Soft, luscious lips will look fabulous with this look. Use a natural shade of creamy lipstick with a cream lip pencil in the same shade. The colour of your lipstick should match perfectly with the lip liner. Apply your liner after wearing the lipstick, it will merge well and won’t look artificial. Lip liner will prevent your lipstick from feathering.
